A custom domain (book.yourpractice.com or yourpractice.com) is the cleanest way to present your booking page and website. Clients see your brand in the URL, not Stillpoint's.
Custom domains are available on Solo, Starter, and Professional plans.
Connect a domain you already own
- Open the Website editor.
- Go to the Domain tab.
- Click Add Custom Domain.
- Enter your domain (e.g.,
yourpractice.comorbook.yourpractice.com). - Stillpoint shows the DNS records you need to add at your domain registrar (usually a CNAME or A record).
- Add the records at your registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, etc.).
- Wait for DNS to propagate. This typically takes minutes but can take up to a few hours.
- SSL is provisioned automatically once the domain is verified.
Once verified, your booking page and website are reachable through your domain. The Stillpoint subdomain still works too; both routes lead to the same site.
Buy a domain through Stillpoint
For practices that don't have a domain yet, Stillpoint can sell you one directly. The buy-domain flow is gated behind the vercelDomains flag (UAT pending) and may not be available in your account yet.
When it is available:
- Open the Domain tab and click Buy a domain.
- Search for an available name.
- Select a domain and complete checkout.
- Stillpoint registers it on your behalf and configures the DNS automatically.
- Your domain is live within minutes.
Tips
- Use a subdomain like
book.yourpractice.comif you want to keep your existing root domain pointed somewhere else (a Squarespace site, for example). - DNS changes can take time. If verification doesn't succeed immediately, wait a couple of hours and retry.
- Once live, update your social profiles and email signature to use the custom domain. Consistency is the whole point.
